Hem Benzoin Incense

Benzoin is a balsamic resin from the benzoin tree, a native to the tropical areas of the Far East. Benzoin resin is a major component of the type of church incense used in Russia and some other Orthodox Christian societies. In India, benzoin is burned in the temple in front of statues of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Benzoin is said to stimulate imagination and inspiration, and to be helpful when you are involved in creative work.
