The Egyptian book of the dead

The collection of prayers, spells and speeches now known as the Book of the Dead was placed in ancient Egyptian tombs as a guide for the journey into the afterlife. This edition presents EA Wallis Budge classic translation of one version, the papyrus of Ani (c.1275 BCE), with photographs of its illustrations depicting rituals described in the text.
