My Inside Thoughts Are Poetry By Akiena Louis

“My Inside Thoughts Are Poetry” is a collection of poems that share insight on Akiena’s journey of adolescence, love, spirituality, her experiences of being a black woman in society while finding her voice, as well as, discovering purpose.

Akiena explores how to say more by using less influencing her style of writing to be simplistic yet deep. My Inside Thoughts Are Poetry is like a cup of coffee or tea with honey early in the morning taking you on a soulful dance with life along her journey of evolving as a healer.
